Red Ackies are a step up from Beardies and Leopard Geckos in care requirements. They require more careful attention to temperatures and humidity. These are the perfect starter monitor. These interesting animals thrive in small groups. They require many tight hiding places, and a deep soil based substrate to burrow in. I have experienced a setback breeding this year with the unexpected death of my female. I will be replacing her ASAP.
