Boscs are a good entry point into a larger monitor species. Care is similar to other monitors but being terrestrial and originally from the scrublands in Africa, it is not necessary to recreate a rain forest in your house. Temperament is variable. CBB animals are quite manageable. WC boscs may have difficulty acclimating if larger at the time of importation. These monitors have similar care requirements to an Ackie, but on a larger scale.
